Timeline for Sending Wedding Invitations

THINGS TO REMEMBER

Include the cost of postage in your budget.

Allocation one (1) invitation per household or party, NOT per person.

If possible, avoid sending save the dates or invitations around the holidays so they don’t get lost in the mix of greeting cards and presents.

Consider how you want to gather RSVPs.

  • If online through a wedding website, include a link or QR code for ease of access for guests.

  • If paper, make sure to include a pre-addressed and stamped envelope for them to send it back.
