Guidelines for Booking

  • Don't ghost.

    It’s so okay to decide not to use a vendor, but it’s less okay to leave these professionals (these people) hanging. Just let them know politely:

    “Thank you for your time; we just wanted to let you know that we are going in a different direction. All the best!”

  • Be polite.

    Obviously.

  • Avoid phrases such as:

    “reasonably priced”
    “won’t cost an arm and a leg ” etc.

    Communicate your budget and expectations. Some vendors may be able to accommodate or point you in the direction of other vendors who fit your needs and budget.

  • Weddings are relative

    And so are the costs. Location, years of experience, extent of services, guest count, time of year, personal preferences and priorities, and many other factors go into pricing.

  • If they have an inquiry form on their website, use it.

    Wedding professionals have these to help streamline their processes and it helps them to receive the information they need to respond accordingly.
